I am a researcher with a strong interest in personalised intelligent interactions in eHealth applications. My work explores how such applications can be made more interactive and engaging through, e.g., conversational agents such as chatbots, virtual assistants, and robots. In particular, I study their interactions with and effects on end users, e.g., when it comes to social perception, human-technology relationship formation and trust.
Throughout my research, I enjoy close collaboration with domain experts and draw on my background in AI to make the intelligent interactions in these applications adaptable to individual users with a focus on processes such as virtual coaching, counselling, and shared decision-making.
